The Festive Season has arrived and Christmas is nearly here, the first half of this Masonic season seems to have flown by. I’ve managed to visit a third of the Area’s Lodges so far in my new position as APGM, and it’s been lovely meeting so many Brethren enjoying their Freemasonry.
Having been in post for nearly six months I would like to express my thanks to everyone within the SE Area Teams, and our Area Chairman and Vice Chairmen. There are many people supporting our Lodges and Brethren in a variety of ways, and I’m grateful for their support.
Congratulations to Arthurian Lodge on becoming the first in our Area to be awarded the Platinum Honorific for the 2027 Festival. This newsletter has details of their fantastic achievement and lots more that has happened in the SE Area over the last few months. We have much more planned for next year including our Membership Challenge Follow-up meeting, an informal Area retrieval evening, and a Dine a Friend at the end of March.
Beverley and I would like to wish you, your family and friends a merry and joyful Christmas and of course, a happy and healthy New Year.
