The SCA Christmas Charity Toy Presentation was another great success last weekend. The event took place at the Woolston Masonic Centre, with 5 charities attending to receive their toys.
W.Bro Gavin Webb, who this year headed up the presentation welcomed everyone to the proceedings and introduced the SCA Assistant Provincial Grand Master W.Bro James Ian Preece PSGD, who thanked the Charities for attending and additionally those involved in making the presentation such a great success again this year.
The five charities attending were, Abby’s Heroes, Rainbow Trust, Southampton Doing it for Kids, Family Nurse Partnership Solent NHS Trust and Sophie’s Legacy.
Sally from Abby’s Heroes said “I’m completely taken back by the Freemasons generosity” and Cindy from The Rainbow Trust said “I’ve not seen anything like this before, it’s absolutely fantastic work by everyone and the children are going to have a great Christmas this year”.
Finally, Special thanks goes to W.Bro Robert Ings and the Brethren from Twynham Lodge No. 5889 and to W.Bro Gavin Webb, W.Bro Chris Christopher; John Frith; and Bro Norman Bainbridge for all of their hard work in making today’s event a great success. Special thanks also to Simon Andrew Cocks for putting on the food and refreshments.
Well Done Brethren All
