South Central Area Light Blues Festival Announced for March 2026 in Southampton

Freemasons from across the region are being invited to attend the South Central Area Light Blues Festival, which will take place on Saturday 7 March 2026 at the Southampton Masonic Centre, Albion Place, Southampton (SO14 2DD).

The festival will be hosted by Southampton University Lodge No. 7022 and will feature a Multiple Ceremony of Initiation, forming the central focus of the event. The ceremony will be conducted by the Lodge’s Brethren, with additional parts delivered by local Light Blue Masons, offering a collaborative and engaging experience for those attending.

The event is scheduled to begin at 5.00pm and is being held under the banner of the South Central Area, within the Provincial Grand Lodge of Hampshire and Isle of Wight. It forms part of the Area’s ongoing programme to encourage participation, learning, and fellowship among newer members of the Craft.

Following the ceremony, attendees will be able to enjoy a formal dining experience. The menu is priced at £25 per head (plus a small card processing charge per booking) and includes:

  • Pâté and Melba toasts

  • Stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon with vegetables

  • Tiramisu

  • Cheese board

  • Tea and coffee
