Freemasons from across Hampshire & Isle of Wight will be giving their time to support Southampton Pride 2026, taking place over the weekend of 29 and 30 August 2026.
As part of the Freemasons in the Community initiative, our volunteers will be working alongside the event organisers and other community volunteers to help ensure the weekend is a safe, welcoming and successful occasion for everyone attending.
Southampton Pride is one of the city’s major annual community events, bringing thousands of people together in the heart of Southampton. Events of this scale rely upon the enthusiasm and commitment of volunteers, and our Freemasons are delighted to be playing their part.
Throughout the weekend, members will be assisting wherever they are needed, supporting the organisers with the practical running of the event and helping visitors enjoy everything Southampton Pride has to offer.
Our involvement is another opportunity to demonstrate Freemasonry in action within the community. Whether supporting local charities, helping at major events or simply giving our time where an extra pair of hands is needed, volunteering allows us to make a visible and positive contribution to the communities in which we live and work.
We are looking forward to joining the many other volunteers, organisations and community groups coming together for what promises to be a fantastic weekend.
