Active Officers Welcome the New Masonic Year in Style
As the new Masonic year for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Freemasons begins, the 2025/26 Active Officers, joined by their wives and partners, gathered at the Kings Court Centre for the annual event hosted by Provincial Grand Master Jon Whitaker.
The PGM opened the day with a warm welcome and a light-hearted introduction to his Executive team, setting a relaxed and enjoyable tone that carried through the event. The atmosphere was one of friendship, unity, and anticipation for the year ahead.
This year’s event again garnered fantastic support, a clear reflection of the growing enthusiasm and engagement across the Province. Attendees enjoyed the opportunity to meet new faces, strengthen existing connections, and share in the spirit of Freemasonry.
With the first Official Visits now underway, excitement and optimism filled discussions, with the event marking not only the start of a new Masonic year but also the continuation of the strong sense of fellowship that defines the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Province.
“It was a wonderful way to begin the new year — full of energy, laughter, and brotherhood,” one attendee remarked.
The Province now looks forward to a busy and fulfilling year ahead, with members eager to represent Freemasonry in their lodges and communities throughout 2025 and beyond.
