A wonderful evening at Canute Lodge last night as we welcomed a great number of visiting Brethren for the raising of our Brother Mark Abbas.
Welcome to the Third Degree, Brother Mark – another important step in your Masonic journey.
The ceremony was carried out in fine form and enjoyed by all present.
After the meeting, we were joined by Bro. Chris Dodd, who gave an inspiring talk about the TLC (Teddies for Loving Care) charity – helping bring comfort to children in hospitals across the country.
Chris also presented the Lodge with a certificate recognising our charitable giving to the cause, and gifted the Worshipful Master a large teddy bear to be used for our next raffle.
After a long summer break, it was a pleasure to see the Lodge room full once again, sharing friendship, laughter, and brotherhood at the festive board.
